About the Bands
Del Williams Band The Del Williams Band is a five-piece bluegrass band from Northern and Central California, featuring the fine traditional singing and playing of bluegrass stalwart Del Williams. Supporting Del is an impeccable cast of musicians who share a passion for wielding music in the classic bluegrass style popularized by the First Generation founders of the 1940s and 1950s.
The Kathy Kallick Band The Kathy Kallick Band is a group of musicians born and bred in this traditional brand of West Coast bluegrass. Four of the five are native or long-term Californians, and all have been playing bluegrass professionally since the ’70s. Their music is distinctive and powerful, and brilliantly supportive of the extraordinary songwriting and singing of Kathy Kallick.
